For Rehoming

From time to time we have horses available for rehoming. Having been trained here they are very precious to us and must find the best homes possible to continue to thrive.

From time to time we have horses available for rehoming. They may have come to the end of their racing career, or be finding it too tough. All of our horses have been ridden in traffic, over showjumps and crosscountry fences and are good to handle.

We are very aware that our horses must go to the best homes possible and offer them on either permanent loan or a select few are for sale. 

In permanent loan the horse remains the property of Lucinda Russell Racing but is under full care of the loan home. No fee is charged however we will carry out a home check before the loan and at times during the loan. If the loaner’s circumstances change the horse will be returned to LRR. The horse may not be sold.

Horses sold are also subject to a reference for the buyer and we like to keep in touch with the horse’s progress.

Horses available for reforming are posted on our FACEBOOK PAGE and we can be contacted through that page or through the office. If you are interested in rehoming a horse from us please contact us with your experience with horses, what you are looking to do with your horse, and a reference for where you are going to keep him. 

Our ex-racehorses look for a good long term homes and we like to keep in contact with them.
